No, junk food and fast food are not the same. ❌ Fast food is referred to as food that is easily accessible, quickly prepared, and served. Junk food, on the other hand, is food that is both low in nutrients and excessive in calories. Micronutrients like fiber, minerals, and vitamins are typically lacking. Does this mean that fast food can be healthy?

Over 70 million people consume food at McDonald's every single day. How come? One of the most common and cheap meal options available to us is fast food. You order it and pick it up within minutes. Perfect for full, busy days, right?
Yes, but unfortunately, it is typically heavy in sugar, salt, and saturated or trans fats. Fast food is usually junk food, and consuming it on occasion will not harm your body. However, if consumed on a regular basis, it may have adverse effects on your overall health. What dangers are hidden in fast food?

Fast food doesn't have to be unhealthy for you. Prepared fresh and at home, it can be healthier and even cheaper 😉.
Here are my top 4 healthy fast food ideas:
Wraps 🌯 (add veggies, a spread, a source of protein, and homemade hummus).
Bowls 🥣 (add rice or quinoa, fruits, veggies, and a delicious sauce)
Sandwiches 🥪 (add a spread, veggies, and a protein source).
Salads 🥗 (add veggies, fruits, a protein source, and a vinaigrette).
My tip: Make your homemade fast food as colorful as possible by adding a lot of veggies. 🥬
