To be honest, I don't know. All I know is that for me hiking feels like hitting a reset button, a means of finding some peace and quiet away from the constant buzz of the daily life. 🏙️
Hiking has the ability to ground us, test us, and leave us feeling incredibly content and satisfied. But why is hiking so rewarding, both physically and mentally?

My Top Hiking Essentials
You aren’t used to hiking and want to make sure that you’re well prepared to hit the trail?
I've created a checklist so can improve your hiking experience:
⛰️ A hiking route (a map)
🥾 Comfortable hiking boots
🚰 Enough water (2-4 liters) and electrolytes
☀️ Sun protection
🥪 A healthy sandwich (packed with veggies and protein)
⛑️ First-aid supplies
🧥 Waterproof clothing (because the weather can be unpredictable)
🔪 Swiss army knife (just because)
🥜 Some snacks (nuts, fruits or bars)
🔦 A torch in case it get’s dark
🔥 A lighter (for survival reasons)
My tip: Pack better light than heavy. A heavy backpack can make a hike very unpleasent.
