Magic or Science?

Hey, it’s Benji 👋
You can’t smell it, taste it, or touch it.
But step in front of it, and suddenly you’re glowing red. 👀
Can you guess what it is?

The Best Light
This light has helped millions glow up. ✨
It's used to improve mental and physical wellbeing - all without lifting a finger. 👈️
Athletes love it.

And yes, it kind of makes you look like you're charging up for something serious. 👀
But what is red light therapy?
And is it really worth the hype?
Let’s shine a light on it. 👇

The Power of Red Light
What is red light therapy?
Red Light Therapy (RLT), also known as photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-level red and near-infrared (NIR) light to support your body - at the cellular level. 🦠
It was originally studied by NASA to help plants grow in space… and then to heal astronauts’ wounds.
How does it work?
RLT exposes your skin to targeted light and long wavelengths.
This gentle exposure stimulates your mitochondria (a.k.a. your cells’ power plants), helping them create more ATP - the energy your cells run on. 🔋
Why do people do it?
Because it may help treat skin conditions, inflammation, and other conditions.
And unlike most wellness trends, you don’t have to do anything.
Just sit there and take it all in (perfect for lazy people). 😉
Is it safe?
Yes!
Used properly and for short durations, red light therapy is considered safe and free from side effects for most people. 👍️
What are the benefits of doing red light therapy?

Red Light Therapy- How to Start
Let’s be real:
You’re curious. The hype is real. But where the heck do you start? 🤔
Here’s a simple checklist to help you get glowing - without the guesswork.
🤏 Start stupidly small: Just 5 minutes, 3 times per week is enough
🦷 Stack the habit: Attach it to something you already do daily (like brushing your teeth or doing skincare)
⚔️ Choose your weapon: Research clinically backed devices that fit your budget and space (quality matters!!!)
🖼️ Document the journey: Take weekly progress photos - same spot, same light, same pose (your brain will forget the gradual changes, but photos won't)
📆 Schedule it like a meeting: Pick exact days and times, then treat them like can’t-miss appointments
✅ Track consistency, not perfection: Aim for 80% over 6 weeks instead of burning out trying to be perfect for two
📈 Expect the plateau: Visible results often show up around week 4-6. Think long game (this is cellular renovation, not Instagram magic)
Snacks 🥜
Dad Joke of the Week
I ran a red light.
So I stopped at a green one to make up for it.
A Deep Question
When was letting go the most painful - and how did it shape who you are now?
A Friendly Reminder
“Give yourself permission to let go of what weighs heavily on your soul. You carry it all so well, but that does not mean that it is yours to hold.”
